Intelligent Monitoring Completes Acquisition Of Security Services Provider

Intelligent Monitoring Group Ltd (ASX:IMB) (IMG) has completed the acquisition of Australian security services provider ACG Integration.

ACG specialises in delivering automated control systems, high-end integrated security, access control and IP CCTV, amongst others.

A core part of ACG’s business is the ongoing maintenance and support of these systems.

Commercial security integrator

IMG Managing Director Dennison Hambling said: “We are excited today to welcome ACG staff into the IMG group, to work with ADT in reemerging as the leading commercial security integrator in Australasia.

Acquisitions to add value

In May, IMG said it is enhancing its security services offering by acquiring two sperate businesses, AAG and ACG.

AAG (Alarm Assets Group) is a security services provider principally based in Western Australia.

IMG will pay an aggregate of A$15.9 million in cash consideration for the acquisitions.

On 4 June, IMG completed a placement to raise A$20 million to fund, amongst other things, the acquisitions.
