Austco Healthcare Expands Market Presence in Australia Through Acquisition

Austco Healthcare Ltd (AHC: ASX) is acquiring Amentco Enterprise, a security and communications solutions provider and a certified Austco Nurse Call reseller.

The acquisition will fast-track Austco’s plan to build direct sales capability in Australia, replicating the proven model Austco uses in the US, Canada and Singapore.

It will enable Austco to expand its product offering to Australian healthcare providers, including security solutions and other low-voltage products.

Revenue synergies

Austco makes sophisticated nurse call systems, enterprise reporting and analytics tools, and industry-leading software applications for caregivers and clinical staff.

By incorporating Amentco’s security products and services, Austco can provide a comprehensive solution to its clients.

The acquisition presents opportunities for revenue synergies through cross-selling of products and services.

Importantly, Austco can leverage its relationships with healthcare facilities to introduce Amentco’s security and communication solutions and vice versa.

Expanding market presence

Amentco will be acquired on a cash-free, debt-free basis for a total purchase price of A$10.6 million based on 3.5 times financial year (FY) 2023 EBITDA.

Austco intends to merge Amentco’s extensive business with its current operations, which span hundreds of sites and include important security solutions customers across Queensland.

Overall, the acquisition presents a strategic opportunity for both companies to strengthen their market positions and drive growth.
