Astral Resources NL Reports High-Grade Gold Assays at Kamperman

Astral Resources NL (ASX: AAR) is delighted to unveil the assay results from its recent three-hole reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at the Feysville Gold Project, situated approximately 14km south of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. Ten out of sixteen holes drilled at Kamperman since January 2023 have yielded significant high-grade results.

Key Highlights

Assay results from the three-hole RC program, conducted in the March Quarter, reveal high-grade gold findings, including:

  • 7 metres at 5.81g/t gold from 19 metres, including 2 metres at 12.3g/t gold and 1 meter at 10.4g/t gold in hole FRC263.
  • 8 metres at 2.04g/t Au from 32 metres, including 1 meter at 12.6g/t Au in hole FRC264.
  • 12 metres at 2.12g/t Au from 69 metres to end-of-hole (EOH) in hole FRC265.

Ten out of sixteen holes drilled at Kamperman since January 2023 have yielded significant high-grade results.

Additionally, five lines of air-core (AC) drilling were completed across the western portion of the Feysville tenement package.

A follow-up 19-hole, 2,459-meter RC in-fill and extensional drill program has been concluded, with assay results pending.

Astral Resources’ Managing Director, Marc Ducler, commented: “The recent Kamperman discovery within our Feysville Project continues to deliver outstanding results. This three-hole program has once again confirmed the exceptional high-grade potential at Kamperman. We are eagerly awaiting assay results from the follow-up RC program, which we believe will further unlock the significant potential of this growing prospect.”

Feysville Gold Project

The Feysville Gold Project lies within the Norseman-Wiluna Greenstone Belt, hosting a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 3Mt at 1.3g/t Au for 116koz of contained gold at the Think Big deposit. Feysville is positioned to potentially provide satellite ore feed to the Mandilla Gold Project.

Feysville Exploration Update: Astral concluded a 67-hole (2,248-meter) AC drill program in January on prospecting licenses P26/4351 to P26/4353 within the Feysville Gold Project. The AC program, designed to explore low-order magnetic structural targets and a historic soil anomaly, was completed ahead of schedule. Subsequently, the drilling rig was converted to an RC configuration to drill three high-priority holes at Kamperman, all of which returned high-grade assays.

This announcement underscores Astral Resources’ commitment to advancing exploration efforts and unlocking the full potential of its projects.
