Antipa Minerals Expands Gold Bounty At Minyari Dome in the Paterson Province Of WA

Antipa Minerals Ltd (ASX: AZY) will incorporate the new air core drilling results from the wholly-owned Minyari Dome Gold-Copper Project into a Phase 1 CY2024 drilling program.

Highlights

  • The latest drill results expanded the gold mineralisation footprint to 700 metres from 600 metres.
  • It included an intercept of 1 metre at 4.3 g/t gold from 10 metres to end-of-hole.
  • Infill drilling delivered 5 metres at 1.2 g/t gold and 0.08% copper from 12 metres to end-of-hole.

Three new gold targets were also identified near the Minyari Deposit, where a scoping study has confirmed stand-alone project potential.

The new program will include 6,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling and 5,000 metres of diamond core drilling.

This is scheduled to commence around the end of this month.

The scoping study was completed in 2022 when the gold price was A$2430 an ounce. The surging gold metal price of A$3100 an ounce will have significantly improved the project economics since the study.

Minyari Dome has a current resource base of 1.8 million gold ounces grading 1.6 grams per tonne of gold plus copper, cobalt, and silver.

The study indicated the project is technically and commercially robust, in a strategic location with substantial upside in resource and project economics.

Antipa is well funded to continue an aggressive exploration program with over $6 million in cash.
