Alto Metals Seeks To Emulate WMC’s High Grade Gold At Sandstone In WA

Alto Metals has unearthed a six-kilometre high-grade gold target within its Sandstone project that covers the 740 square kilometre Sandstone Greenstone Belt in WA.

Soil geochemical sampling over the Sandstone North area defined the 6-kilometre-long and 250 m-wide anomaly.

This is useful as it provides a target outside Alto’s Alpha Domain, which hosts the current 832,000-ounce gold resource that is pit-constrained.

Previous drilling was carried out mostly by Western Mining Corporation included some very high-grade results including 15m @ 9.1 g/t gold from 82m incl. 3m @ 32.1 g/t gold.

Mineralisation remains open along strike and down plunge.

Historically, it produced over 1.3 million ounces of gold.

Not surprisingly, Alto will kick exploration up a notch in 2024.

The first pass low-cost air-core (AC) drilling program will commence in early Q1 2024, following receipt of all clearances and approvals.
